Equipment Calibration Class
Have you ever wanted to learn more about measurement instrument calibration, with hands-on laboratory experiences?
The Equipment Calibration class from Masy BioServices, Middlesex Community College and Mount Wachusett Community College will give you both classroom learning and laboratory-based, hands-on calibration training.
When: May 29th / May 31st / June 5th / June7th
Time: 6:00pm to 8:30pm

This 10 hour certificate class will start with an overview of calibration, allowing students to understand why calibration is important and how it impacts various industries. Students will be exposed to several disciplines of calibration:
Discussions include measurement accuracy, traceability, and understanding the meaning of a calibration certificate along with vocabulary and procedures within a calibration lab.
The hands-on component of the session will include the calibration of several pieces of laboratory equipment. Students will have the opportunity to work with a local primary metrology lab and learn about the types of careers available in the field of calibration.
A certificate will be granted upon successful completion of this course.
